Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov noted that bitcoin mining will make Ukraine a "high-tech state" after the government legalized cryptocurrency last September. Along with cryptocurrency, the government has legalized other virtual assets. He said the development of the crypto industry can attract transparent investors and enhance the country's identity with the high-tech realm.
Ukraine has accredited itself with the key decentralized financial axis in Eastern Europe and around the world. Later, basic regulations imposed on digital financial assets caused the country to partially halt its crypto plans. Crypto is a fairly easy asset. People are investing money because there aren't many other investment opportunities in emerging markets.
